| Lindy Irving is the founder, director and primary Trainer of Level 9 Training and Development.
With over 12 years experience in the NHS , including becoming Scotland's first female Helicopter Medic, Lindy was instrumental in the development and delivery of a number of NHS training programmes and seminars. On leaving the Scottish Ambulance Service in 2002, Lindy set up a Personal Development practice (www.lindyirving.com) in Glasgow. Following the success of this venture and in response to the growing number of business sector clients seeking high quality training courses at a fair price, Lindy launched Level 9 Training & Development.
Level 9 offers a number of powerful Professional as well as Personal Development courses, delivered by a team of highly experienced trainers and consultants. The company takes a Positive Psychology approach to training, believing that every person has the potential to achieve excellence in themselves. The mission at Level 9 is to inspire that excellence.
Lindy has appeared in numerous magazines, and press articles, as well as having made a number of TV appearances, and has been nominated for a number of awards including the UK NHS awards and Evening Times Local Hero Awards. Lindy has recently (2009) completed a series with the BBC where she appeared as a Consultant Life Coach.
Lindy is also the founder of the innovative Forces Support Programme (FSP) in Glasgow, which provides free support to serving British soldiers, to help them overcome effects of conflict stress.
Lindy is an advanced Public Speaker and is currently President of Southside Speakers, and a member of Glasgow Toastmasters, both Public Speaking and Leadership clubs which are part of the Toastmasters International group. Lindy was recently (2009) placed 2nd out of 1,100 people in the UK & Ireland Public Speaking Championships.
